The bass features a low string action, Fieldy holds his bass also at a very low position. Fieldy has a lot of effect pedals, which produces his original sound. If you want to get his sound, tune as shown, select slap style on your bass pedal and take any mid-range of the sound off. I'm sorry, I have no clue about the effect pedals Fieldy uses, maybe I will update. I think the best way to reach his sound is buying an Ibanez K5 which has a sweepable midrange control.
